My 'Hands Of Love' series, featuring the hands of Rachel Foley, was painted from photos captured by Mathew Guido, art directed by me.

When I sprayed the gold on this one I thought ‘oh no, I messed this one up’. The goal was to be able to see more of the painting under the gold, but the gold spray paint wasn’t as transparent as I had hoped. I left it to hang and dry for a few days and it grew on me, now I’m definitely feeling it!

This hands series idea is the beginning of some new ideas, exploring a bunch of my interests and previously half-baked ideas. This painting is my ‘Pixelism’ style, with my ‘aura ring’ texture, and spray paint thrown in - and it works really nicely.
