The first painting in my 'Hands Of Love' series, featuring the hands of Rachel Foley, was painted from photos captured by Mathew Guido.

Caress is an experiment, as I wasn't sure where I was going with these 'hands' paintings. I painted the coloured part a couple of times before I came up with the idea of the spray-painted fingertips, which looks great when I nail the process and density. That all being said, this painting looks great as it is.

This hands series idea is the beginning of some new ideas, exploring a bunch of my interests and previously half-baked ideas. This painting is my ‘Pixelism’ style, with my ‘aura ring’ texture, and colour thrown in - and it works really nicely.
